Laxatives. Pills or tea. Take 2 to 20. Drink twice the amount suggested. Stop working. Take more. Take different colors. Drink rainbow. Abuse. Abuse. Abuse. To feed my bowel. My bowel needs more. My eyes need more. To let no impurities in my system. To not absorb my failures. Wake up on the floor. To sleep and wait again on the bathroom floor. Or to be disappointed. Flush some more down the throat. My greedy bowel needs more. My blind eyes need more. Bones.
I was sick. Now I know. But still I’m dragging the chains. The footprints have not washed away. Not going back. To multi-color pills. Pretty pretty pills. Doing the mopping work. Prune juice. I drink prune juice.
